Beginner Beading:
This class is for everyone and anyone interested in learning the basics.
Don't know what a crimp is? Take a look here.
Crimps, Softflex and an intro to all the tools necessary to get you going. The first half of this class is devoted to covering the basics and introducing students to the wonderful world of crimping leather ends and all the other bits and pieces involved in creating beaded/strung jewelry pieces.
The second part of this class is dedicated to designing and executing a plan to create your design, applying the techniques you have learned.
Participants will leave with the skills to complete their very own creations.

Beginner Beading

Learn how to bead and create your own one of a kind creations. In this class, Megan will guide you through the process of how to create a necklace or bracelet of your own design. Learn the tools, supplies and handy tips required to get you started in this fun art.

Wire Wrap 1 Class
Wire I :
Want to know the difference between round nose and chain nose pliers? Artistic wire vs. copper core? Welcome to wire wrapping!
This class will show you the basic techniques of wrapping wire and how to utilize this skill in your projects.
We will help you navigate through the wonderful world of wire wrapping. Students will learn techniques to create a bracelet and these techniques can also be applied to creating earrings and much more.
Tools? Bring 'em if ya got 'em. Otherwise we will supply tools for you to use in class.

Wire I

Expand and add to the techniques that you acquired in Beginner Beading. In the Wire I Class, students learn how to work with wire. Basic linking is covered and will allow students to begin to create earrings, closures and add unique elements to their jewellery creations. Learn technique tips, tools and wire basics.

Rosary Wrap Style Necklace

The next step up in The Crow's wire classes. Once you have completed Wire I this is your next stop. Take your wraps to the next level, learn how to oxidize, hammer and design your own pieces using some core beads and a few others to spice it up. Also learn to create your clasp.

Cold Connections with Eugenia

Learn Cold Connections with Eugenia. This class always fills up fast!
Techniques: Measuring and cutting of metal, texturizing/stamping, how to make jump rings and a clasp, wire and tube rivets, how to cold connect the pieces together, heat or liver of sulphur patina, polishing and finishing.

Wire Wrapping Essentials with Eugenia

Eugenia the Mistress of the wire wrap will be at The Crow teaching her full day wire work wrap class. Oh, the techniques you will learn in this full day class... basic wire wrap, figure 8 and other links, forming jump rings, making wire beads, coiling and twisting of wire, swan clasp for closing, patina with liver of sulphur, polishing and finishing a bracelet or necklace and tons more! This class in the prerequisite for all of Eugenia's classes.

Open Studio Beading

We've got the tools if you've got the time. The studio is open for you. Tools will be out and the coffee will be on. For a $5.00 drop in fee you can spend some time in The Crow studio finishing off a piece that you have been trying to get to or creating something new. Give the shop a call and we will hold a spot for you. Please note this is a non instructional event.
