Beginner Beading: This class is for everyone and anyone interested in learning the basics. 

Crimps, Softflex and an intro to all the tools necessary to get you going. The first half 

of this class is devoted to covering the basics and introducing students to the wonderful world of crimping

leather ends and all the other bits and pieces involved in creating beaded/strung jewelry pieces.

The second part of this class is dedicated to designing and executing a plan to create your design, 

applying the techniques you have learned.


Participants will leave with the skills to complete their very own creations.

Wire Wrap 1 Class


Wire I : Want to know the difference between round nose and chain nose pliers? Artistic wire vs. copper core? Welcome to wire wrapping! This class will show you the basic techniques of wrapping wire and how to utilize this skill in your projects.  We will help you navigate through the wonderful world of wire wrapping.


Please note: the class focus is on learning techniques not completing a specific project.


Tools? Bring 'em if ya got 'em. Otherwise we will supply tools for you to use in class.

Saturday March 13th 1:30pm - 4pm or Saturday April 17th 1:30pm - 4pm

Wire Wrap 2 Class

Wire II: A class for those who want to take their wire wrapping up a notch.


This session will explore caging, dangles and other advanced wire wrap techniques utilizing a variety of materials. This class is project based so please have a specific project idea in mind. Wire wrap 1 or previous experience is necessary. Please feel free to contact us if you are unsure which class is right for you at this time.


Class length 2.5hrs


Choose any one of the following dates:


Tuesday April 27th 6:30 - 9pm


Cost: $40.00 plus the cost of any additional beads

Earrings

Anatomy of an Earring:Clusters, chandeliers, drops and a few fun twists and turns are what you will discover as you explore the world of hand crafted earrings. An excellent opportunity to take your wire wrap techniques to a whole new level... Your ears! A great evening to expand your design skills.

Component Class

Component : a part, element or ingredient. Learn how to make some of your own necklace or bracelet components with wire wrap techniques and the ball peen hammer and bench block. Toss in some beads or crystals and you will have a one of a kind piece, custom made just for you. Previous wire wrap class or experience necessary.
Please note: We ask that you come in prior to class to make sure you have all your supplies so that class time can be committed to creating your project.

Creative Charm

Charm Bracelet: "These are a few of my favorite things”… Have you got some ‘orphan’ beads that need a home? Match them up with a few bits and pieces of silver and voila! Your very own personalized charm bracelet. Previous wire wrap class or experience is necessary to participate in this class.

Please note: we ask that you come in prior to class to select some of your supplies so that class time can be dedicated to creating your project.

Mother & Daughter Class

 


Mom & Me Beading: Time for two. Bring in your special someone and create a necklace or bracelet for each of you.  In this class, we will help you layout, design and create either a necklace or bracelet or both. 

 In time for Mothers Day.... Saturday May 8th 10am - Noon

$35.00 per pair plus the cost of beads and supplies

Wire work with Eugenia


This is a terrific class to perfect your wirework skills. It doesn't matter if you have had wire 

experience or not, this class has something for everyone.

Participants will perfect eye pins and jump rings

the backbone for Eugenia's pieces and then learn some fab techniques to 

cage, twist and turn and create your own masterpiece. In this class you will learn

 to age and distress your bracelet. This is a project based class, participants will create a bracelet.

Project will be in copper with beads. 

 Sunday March 28th 10- 4pm

Cost $80.00 plus $15.00 kit fee.

Wire Work II (Intermediate) with Eugenia


Now it is time to take it up a notch. In this class, Eugenia will expand on the techniques

learned in her first class. Spirals,wire ropes, wraps and numerous combinations will be covered.

This is a project based class where students will be able create a necklace incorporating these

new techniques and beads. Examples are on show in at The Crow...stop by and see

 or call for more details and to register.

Saturday May 15th 10- 4pm

Cost $80.00 plus kit fee.

Project will be in copper. 






Toggle Bracelet


   In this project based class, Eugenia will expand on the techniques that she has explored

 in her previous classes and guide you through the steps to

make a spectacular, unique bracelet with a bead encrusted toggle. 

This class is great for those who have had some wire work experience.

Using copper wire, beads and crystals, participants will twist, turn, hammer, weave and oxidize           their way through this complete project.  

The techniques that are shown in this class will act as an inspiration for future projects.

Saturday April 10th 10- 4pm

$80.00 plus supply fee 




These workshops will have a break for lunch. Bring your own or there are spots close by to grab a bite.

Coffee, tea and water will be supplied.

Polymer Clay with Linda

Come and learn how to work with this exciting, versatile material. Learn to make beads and jewellery pieces that are unique and one of a kind. You will mix and blend colors so that you can create beads that will match or compliment beads in your "stash". This lightweight and highly flexible material will set your imagination on fire with possibilities. This class will cover the basics of how to work with, shape and bake your polymer projects.
Participants will learn several techniques to make beads, pendants and a polymer clay covered pen. All supplies are included in the class fee.
