Encaustic Mixed Media: Going Beyond Ordinary
2 day workshop
Patricia Baldwin Seggebruch
With the endless versatility of beeswax and painting in encaustic it cannot be overlooked the availability of so many other mediums working beautifully with the wax. Patricia has brought her burning shellac, tar and plaster techniques into The Crow, why not continue the indulgence in experimentation and come join her as we play with indigo dyeing, henna tinting, djanting tools, wood burning, venetian plaster and rust on wax?! These newly developed techniques will enliven you to tremendous versatility in your encaustic painting like nothing else~
If experienced in encaustic you will grasp and move more swiftly through this new material, but those with less experience will be able to make their creative way through the processes without stalling out as well if you are knowledgeable in the basics of encaustic~
